No 7-Year Itch...Yet! :-)
As I was driving into work this morning, listening to my iPod on shuffle, I came across the song "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie. Listening to it inspired me to write this entry about Dawn.
This past Sunday was our 7-year wedding anniversary, although we've been together for 14. To put that into perspective, that is a whopping 42% of my life! (Christ! Has it been THAT long?) In that time span, we've accomplished a lot together. We bought a house and have 3 kids. More importantly, we were able to rebuild our crappy credit that we ruined in college! Whew! :-D
I honestly can say that the past 14 years have been a blast and anticipate that the upcoming years will be even better, watching the kids and weeds grow.
I know she reads this blog, so, I'm going to ask her: Does this nice comment buy me at least 4 weekends of doing nothing but watching football on the couch? No? Damn.
Dawn, I have 5 things to say to you:
#1 You complete me.
#2 You had me at 'hello'.
#3 Nobody puts baby in a corner.
#4 This is my church
#5 This is bullshit. Pan down!
